On September 24th, Brent Courter, a financial advisor with Edward Jones, visited our CEO group. Brent shared his journey, which began with humble beginnings in Freelandville, Indiana. His career path took him to an appliance business in Terre Haute, before he applied for a position with Edward Jones Investments. Brent’s role with Edward Jones started as a secretary for an investment advisor in Chicago, and he eventually made his way to Martin County, where he has called home for many years.

During his visit, Brent shared valuable life lessons, including how he learned the value of money and the importance of preparation. He emphasized how dedicating time to prepare the night before and committing to his craft led him to become a top 3% agent in his company. He encouraged the group to apply these principles in their own lives.
